A deadly shooting is under investigation by Columbus homicide detectives after an early Saturday morning shooting left one teenager dead.
The shooting occurred at 6225 Cross Tie Court, off of Gateway Road, shortly after 1:00 A.M. today, November 19, 2022. The gunfire struck a teenage victim multiple times and the victim was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms the victim, identified as 16-year-old Joshua Huff, was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 1:48 A.M. by an emergency room physician. Huff’s mother was notified of his passing.
This is the 40th homicide victim this year.
